We are seeking a dynamic and personable Host/Hostess to join our team. As a key representative of our country club, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming environment for our members and their guests. Your primary goal is to ensure an exceptional hospitality experience by managing the entrance and dining areas with graciousness and poise.

The key responsibilities of a Host/Hostess on our team are to:

• Greet and welcome members and guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Manage reservations efficiently and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Assist in creating a pleasant dining environment by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the reception and entry areas.
• Provide information to members and guests about club facilities, events, and activities.
• Address any immediate concerns or special requests from members and guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with dining and event staff to facilitate seamless service during peak dining hours and special events.
• Handle incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of menu offerings, club events, and promotional activities.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues as needed.

A successful candidate will:

• Possess a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service to members and guests .
• Have prior experience in a customer service, host/hostess, or hospitality role (preferred but not required).
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Display proficiency in reservation and point-of-sale systems (preferred) or possess the ability to quickly learn new computer skills.
• Be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, etc. for extended periods of time.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
